Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Wedgewood Golf Course The work shall consist of removing the existing bituminous parking lot to the aggregate base, removing a portion of the aggregate base to allow for the new bituminous pavement section, aggregate base repair of any areas not passing a proof roll, removal of limestone cart path and installation of new bituminous cart paths. Pavement markings, signage and restoration are also included. Cart path work will be bid as an add alternate. Inwood Golf Course The work shall consist of grinding the existing pavement, shaping and compacting grindings in place to be used as new base for new pavement, concrete loading area, minor ditch grading, pavement markings, signage and restoration. Construction sequencing and completion dates will be critical for the completion of the projects. Contractor will be required to hire third party testing agency for the bituminous parking testing. Awards will be given based on the lowest responsible bid according to the current established bid policy of the commissioners of the Joliet Park District. The Joliet Park District Board of Commissioners retains the right to waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids according to the Districts bid policy.
