Electrical upgrades including new motor control centers; construction of approximately 400 feet of new force main from the main pumping station to preliminary treatment building; installation of a new mechanical screen and wash press; rehabilitation of existing digester covers; replacement of aeration tank diffusers; plant HVAC upgrades; new nonpotable water system; new digester mixing system; new subgrade construction to house new gas safety and handling equipment; installation of a new waste gas burner; new generator; and other equipment replacement. Question Deadline 02/29/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Issuing Office. Bids from Bidders who are not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as not being responsive. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Bidders shall comply with federal wage rates and President's Executive Order No. 11246, Equal Employment Opportunity, as amended. Rib Mountain Metropolitan Sewerage District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. Any Contract or Contracts to be awarded are expected to be funded with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Clean Water Fund Program and is subject to all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations. Failure to comply could result in disqualification of Bidder and termination of financial assistance or other sanctions. The successful Bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. All iron. and steel products used on the project shall be produced in the United States and comply with the American Iron and Steel requirements.
