Number: AC-STBG-NHPP-000B(880)E Description: This contract consists of three (3) drainage improvement projects, located in Anne Arundel and Calvert County. The three project locations are as follows: (a) MD 32 at Samford Road (b) US 50 Eastbound Ramp to MD 450 (c) MD 260 at 1424 East Chesapeake Beach Road These three (3) locations require various drainage improvements with work consisting of the following: The work will consist of the following: (a)Improvements to the existing storm drain network (b)construction of new outfall and end wall structures (c)swale, berm, and embankment reconstruction (d)channel protection and grading Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon latest the blank electronic proposal form (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, unless otherwise stated in the IFB. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00, unless otherwise stated in the IFB.
