FA Proj Y236-9043-563, Broome Co., Resurfacing - US 11 Binghamton City Line to Chapman Street, Binghamton. This project mills and resurfaces the asphalt pavement along Route 11 with a single course WMA (Warm-Mix Asphalt) treatment, consisting of a top course preceded by a shim or truing & leveling course. Additional work includes the replacement of curb ramps that are non-compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act standards, minor drainage upgrades along with pavement markings, and traffic signal loop detectors. Pedestrian facilities are improved with the newly installed curb ramps and bicycle facilities are improved with the newly resurfaced shoulders and pavement markings. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2024.
