PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is the intention of these Specifications and Plans to provide and secure the construction of the Pump Station #8 Rehabilitation Project at 200 Bilper Avenue in the Borough of Lindenwold, Camden County, New Jersey complete in every detail as shown or specified, for the prices bid in the Proposal. The project work includes the replacement of the stations pumps and electrical controls with submersible pumps and a pump-mate control system, rehabilitation of the wet well with an epoxy coating and trash basket at the eastern influent pipe, elimination of the existing dry well, installation of new discharge piping and electrical conduit and removal and replacement of the existing concrete slab, concrete sidewalk, and existing fencing and gate. The project is located at 200 Bilper Avenue in Borough of Lindenwold, New Jersey. The successful bidder shall supply all labor, materials and equipment required to complete the work as set forth in the general provisions of the contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Technical Specifications. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above schedule time for the opening of bids or any authorized postponement thereof. Bids received after time and date designated shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. BID SECURITY: Must be in the form of a certified treasurers or cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount is required and should be made payable to the Borough of Lindenwold. A Consent Surety Statement and Certification must be submitted. A Certificate of Authority issued by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance must be submitted. : The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid which best appears to be in their best interest. The owner also reserves the right to consider any proposal invalid which considers furnishing said items which do not conform strictly with that specified. If a nonconforming proposal is not discovered at the time of the bid opening, the owner reserves the right to reject said proposal at any time prior to execution of the contracts by them.
