Site work for a water / sewer project in Chetwynd, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Saulteau First Nations is looking to construct a new community wastewater system which will improve the treatment and management of wastewater for their community. The new WWTP will improve services to existing residents and better protect public and environmental health. The construction of the system will include the following: Gravity Collection System Sewage Lift Station c/w Odour Control Forcemain to WWTP Headworks -Mechanical Screen with Spiral Auger Two Aerated Lagoons Effluent Disinfection -UV Disinfection Effluent Discharge to Wetland The lift station piping and process equipment is to be housed in a precast concrete building. The WWTP headworks will be housed in a Quonset hut. Included in the scope is building supply and install, concrete works, process piping, yard piping, electrical, mechanical, miscellaneous instrumentation, and other ancillary works. SFN has discussed a desire to encourage innovative design, materials, processes, and procurement models to achieve project success.
