Liberia House Stream Restoration Scope of Work The City of Manassas is soliciting Bids for the Liberia House Stream Restoration Project in accordance with the plans and specifications. 5% Bid Bond: YES 100% Payment Bond: YES 100% Performance Bond: YES PERIOD OF CONTRACT The period of the Contract shall be for construction to begin within fifteen (15) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall substantially complete the project within two hundred seventy (270) calendar days and shall complete the entire project within three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and any extension as allowed in the specifications. The project is designed for a start to finish construction sequence. Separating this project into phases is not necessary. However, if construction is not completed before the appropriate planting window, the Contractor should still plan to plant during the appropriate window, which could be outside of the two hundred seventy (270) to three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar day timeframe. All work shall be completed and coordinated between the Contractor and the Engineering Department in accordance with the approved schedule. Work hours shall be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend work is allowable with granted permission from the City Manager's Office and the availability of a City inspector.
