Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pekin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Pekin, IL is interested in utilizing a contractor to replace sidewalk, ADA ramps, and asphalt resurfacing in Pekin. Inquiries should be sent to Josie Esker, City Engineer, at (309) 478-5399 or jaesker@ci.pekin.il.us Railroad Protective Liability and Property Damage Liability Insurance shall be carried according to Article 107.11 of the Standard Specifications. A separate policy is required for each railroad unless otherwise noted. This work shall be in accordance with Section 895 of the Standard Specifications except as modified herein. The Contractor shall remove all wires pertaining to existing traffic signals, and grounding, at all intersections noted within the plans. The contractor shall remove the traffic signal controller, signal posts, mast arms, poles, and traffic signal heads as indicated in the plans. This work and any restoration shall be included in the bid price for this pay item. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify the equipment required for removal, salvage, and disposal for each intersection and bid accordingly. Specifically, the traffic signal controller and existing street name signs and honorary street name signs mounted to signal posts will be savaged and delivered to the City of Pekin at 1208 Koch St.
