Site work and paving for a road / highway in Olympia, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The purpose of this Professional Services Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to select a consultant for trail improvements and trestle repairs for an approximate 5-mile trail section located between Malden and Kenova. Three trestles located along this section of trail burned during the Babb Road fire in 2020. This effort will consist of evaluating the three trestles, preparing construction cost estimates for both a renovation and a replacement for the trestles, developing construction documents for either the renovation or replacement of the trestles, trailhead development in Kenova, surfacing for the 5 miles of trail, bidding support, and construction administration for the above work. Small, Minority, Women, and Veteran-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The estimated general range for the MACC for this project is $2,450,000 to $2,650,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
