Summary of project work includes the abatement of all hazardous materials (LBP/Asbestos), demolition of roughly 7,250sqft structure including a trash enclosure and shed, and all asphalt/concrete and fencing. Any soil import is to be certified and any base needed is available from a city jobsite. The site is to be rough graded and left clean with a berm around the perimeter. All Utilities will be abandoned by the City. All work necessary to complete the scope in a workmanlike manner in addition to any permits is the responsibility of contractor. Upon selection and notification of award, contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each for 100% of the total bid amount. Bid Bond 10.00% Cash, cashier's or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. A personal or company check will not be accepted. Bid Valid 120 calendar days Liquidated Damages $250/Day. Project Duration No more than 90 calendar days from permit issuance. Award of contract will be made by City Council. This is a State Prevailing Wage Project.
