The Town of Chelmsford is seeking construction services for the Kitchen remodel and upgrade at the Chelmsford High School. Chelmsford High School, built in 1974, is a three-story building of approximately 285,900 square feet. It is improved with an addition of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) and modest renovation in 2006. The kitchen area is approximately 6,200 square feet and currently serves a student body of 1413 enrolled students in grades 9-12. Approx. 5,200 SF will be subject to renovation with this project. The General Contractor's and Sub Contractor's scope of work includes: the demolition of existing materials and limited demolition of existing walls; new mechanical, electrical and plumbing to support the revised kitchen layout including new MEP Equipment; MEP connections for new kitchen equipment supplied by the Owner; Demolition of existing under slab piping and installation of new under slab piping; New under slab and underground piping associated with the new kitchen and new exterior grease trap (grease trap purchase and install by Owner); new lights; new resilient flooring; new doors & hardware; new act ceilings; new paint; new single user bathroom, roofing penetrations and overseeing the installation and tie in of new kitchen equipment and all other coordination, equipment, and services necessary to execute the work as indicated in the contract documents included in this bid.
