Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a mixed-use development in Peabody, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for asbestos abatement for a residential development; for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and residential development.
At Building A and B replace existing asphalt shingles, vinyl soffits and aluminum gutters and downspouts. Remove existing aluminum clad wood fascia; furnish and install new PVC fascia. Asbestos Abatement required at Roof/Chimney flashing intersections and Roof/Wall flashing intersections. Estimated Cost: $142,300 The Scope of the work under the Contract consists of: Replace existing asphalt shingles The removal work includes but is not limited to: AT BUILDING A AND B: General contractor shall remove and legally dispose existing asphalt shingles; underlayment; roof vents, metal step and counter flashing and metal drip edge. regarding metal step and counter flashing see note 6 for locations where the abatement contractor is required to perform the removal General contractor shall furnish and install new asphalt shingles; (1) layers of underlayment to cover entire roof area; membrane flashing, metal step and counter flashing and metal drip edge
