Sidewalk maintenance and installation of missing sidewalk and barrier free ramps (BFRs) along the DART bus routes within public Right-of-Way. This 22-month term agreement will include the following elements: Construction of approximately 80,000 linear feet of sidewalk with optional width of 4 to 6 foot; and installation of approximately 2990 missing barrier free ramps (BFRs) along the DART bus routes within public Right-of-Way to improve the safe crossing of individuals with disabilities along pedestrian crossing portion of the roadway and in compliance with TDLR. Based on site conditions, construction shall include BFRs at all 4 corners of the intersections. Also additional improvements may be required for replacement and/or adjustment of existing concrete and HMAC sidewalk, at driveway approaches, limited retaining walls, limited storm drainage, limited irrigation, existing water meter boxes, wastewater lateral cleanouts, storm drain manholes, and water valve stack risers and lids Vendors shall submit project related questions Electronically, no later than 5:00 P.M. on February 9, 2024.
