Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot, eight-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
UMCMS Contract Number UMWOR-07943 The Project consists of but not limited to: Basic Wing Penthouse Construction of new 15,000sf penthouse atop an occupied 8 story Medical School Building. Scope to include Structural Steel, Facade, Roofing, HVAC, Electrical, Sprinkler & Plumbing. Project will require extensive work outside of normal working hours. Only Prequalified General Contractors May Bid, with the exception of DCAMM certified sub trade(s) bidders. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the UMASS CHAN MEDICAL SCHOOL. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 02/08/2024 at 2:00PM EST .
