Renovation of an educational facility in Appalachia, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Deadline for questions shall be 4:30 p.m. Friday, February 23. Additional renovations include electrical system upgrades, the addition of one large-bay commercial garage door, and replacement of a swamp cooler and portion of roofing over the commercial kitchen area of the facility. The facility is the site for workforce training for Mountain Empire Community College. The selected Firm or Inpidual will be required to comply with all State and Federal guidelines or requirements, including, but not limited to: * Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 * Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 * The Americans with Disabilities * Davis Bacon Act * Age Discrimination Act * MBE/WBE Solicitation Guidelines * Virginia Energy/ AMLER Guidelines The MECC Foundation will reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any formalities or technicalities as it deems appropriate; and to retain multiple qualified inpiduals or Firms as it deems appropriate. The MECC Foundation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities and to accept the best qualified contractor as specified in evaluation of rating criteria contained within the RFP Package documents.
