Furnish and Deliver 400 HP Explosion Proof Electrical Motor to Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility. Project Description: The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) is requesting bids to Furnish and deliver one, 400 HP Explosion Proof Electrical Motor to the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility (700 East Jones Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin), Contract P-3191. BID SECURITY Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified check, a cashier's check or a bid bond issued by a Surety authorized to issue such bonds in Wisconsin in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. This bid security shall be given as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the successful Bidder will sign the attached Contract. CONTRACT AND GENERAL CONDITIONS The successful Bidder will be required to execute the attached Contract and General Conditions. INSURANCE A Certificate of Insurance will be required, stating requested minimum coverages, as stated in the Contract and General Conditions. The District reserves the right to reject all bids or any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the contract documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time not exceeding 90 days from the bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm (and may not be withdrawn during this 90 day period) and include delivery F.O.B. destination with freight and insurance.
