Project Description: Carlisle Barracks Root and Bliss Hall Demolition, Carlisle Barracks, PA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (NAB), has been tasked to solicit for and award construction services for the demolition of Root Hall (Building 122) and Bliss Hall (Building 121) located at Carlisle Barracks, PA. This work includes disconnection of these buildings from the existing site utilities and removal of inactive connections, hazardous material abatement, full building demolition, grading of the site, and restoration to green space with sidewalks and minor sitework. The gym, which is in the complex, will not be demolished and will be kept in service during this work. A hazardous materials survey report prepared by Leidos, dated February 2021 as part of scope of work for the two buildings. SoftDig an underground utilities locating company has conducted utilities locating and has submitted a drawing with existing underground utility's location to be utilized in the design documents for this project. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Construction duration is approximately 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
