Jefferson County Schools (JCS) in Tennessee is requesting Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural & Engineering (A/E) services for an addition to Talbot Elementary School. JCS intends to enter into a design agreement with a qualified firm experienced in delivering similar projects for municipalities, schools, or other government entities. A/E services shall include, but are not limited to, program verification, schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimating, permiting, bidding support, contract documents, construction administration and project closeout. The firm shall serve as lead for all relevant design disciplines (architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, MEP engineering, data/communications engineering, interior design) and coordinate additional services as needed (surveying, geotechnical, material testing, special inspections, acoustical design, athletic equipment, kitchen equipment, furnishings, security, etc.). The qualified A/E company must be in good standing with Jefferson County.
