The City of Brooklyn Center is looking to improve existing lift stations No. 5 in their sanitary sewer system. Work includes pump replacement, electrical/control panel replacement, concrete work, electrical conduit replacement from the pole mounted transformer to the lift station site, and the construction of a small retaining wall and concrete pad adjacent to the roadway. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This project generally consists of the rehabilitation of an existing City wastewater lift station. The improvements include: wetwell coating; submersible pump, guide rails, float replacement; valve vault pressure washing and coating, replacement of top sections; control panel replacement; concrete apron replacement, and the installation of a retaining wall with concrete driveway. This work will require temporary conveyance and traffic control. All work under this Contract shall be substantially completed by November 15, 2024 and final completion by December 15, 2024.
