The project will abandon-in-place the existing 8-inch asbestos cement water main and construct 2,800 LF of 8-inch ductile iron water main and associated assemblies, fittings, valves, meters, and service lines. The anticipated work includes removal and replacement of roadway pavement, trenching, placement of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA Cl. 1/2 in. PG 58-22), utility adjustments, temporary traffic control, property restoration, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
