Demolition and site work for a residential development in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 1,400-square-foot residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Reference Number 0000341086 The City of Sterling Heights is currently inviting qualified vendors to provide pricing for the demolition of a home located at 11929 Shetland in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The work includes the demolition and removal of the approximately 1400 sq ft dwelling and all accessory structures on the property. Demolition will include all the following: o The abatement of asbestos per all applicable state and federal guidelines. o The cut and cap of all water and sewer lines. The vendor must coordinate with the Department of Public Works (DPW) for their witness and certification of the cut and cap. The DPW requires a 48-hour notice prior to the completion of the cut and cap. o The removal of all concrete and asphalt including walkways surrounding the building. The approach to the city sidewalk should remain intact. o The grading of the site as needed, including the provision of 4" of topsoil. o The cooperation with the City Development Department. Cooperation will include coordination throughout demolition process. The contractor will need to pull the appropriate permits for demolition including (but not limited to) a water/sewer abandonment permit and a demolition permit.
