The Township is accepting Bids for Meter Chamber 9B Sanitary Sewer Collection System Upgrades along Old York Road (County Route 637), under US Highway Route 202, through easements, and under Chubb Way (County Route 646) within the Township of Branchburg. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, supervision and coordination necessary to complete construction of the Project. This project includes construction of 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch diameter PVC and 12" diameter DIP sanitary sewer to replace existing 8-inch gravity sanitary sewer. The sewer connects to an existing 24-inch sewer located close to Chubb Way (County Route 646) in the Township of Branchburg as shown on the Contract Plans. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, supervision and coordination necessary to complete construction of the Project, including construction of sanitary sewer pipe and manholes and all else required to meet the intent of this project. Related site restoration, including backfill and pavement as well as soil erosions and sediment control are also included in this Project. Specifications and other Bid information may be reviewed and obtained at the Administration Department during regular business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. otential respondents are cautioned that they are responding at their own risk if a third party supplied the bid documents as they may or may not be complete. The Township is not responsible for third party supplied documents. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms contained in the bid package and be in a sealed envelope addressed to the Purchasing Agent at the address above. The sealed envelope must be CLEARLY MARKED BID with the name and address of the bidder and the project number and name on the outside of the envelope. If the bid is sent by overnight or express mail, the above designation shall also be CLEARLY MARKED on the outside of the courier company envelope. Any proposal received not complying with these requirements shall not be opened and shall be returned to sender marked "Unresponsive". It is the intention of the Contract Documents to describe a complete project to be constructed in accordance with all the requirements herein notwithstanding that each and every item required may not be shown on the drawings or mentioned in the specifications. The Contract Documents comprise the entire agreement between the Owner and the Contractor and may be amended or added to only as herein described.
