Description: The Hazelwood School District is seeking bid proposals for Gymnasium Floor Vinyl Tile Installation for Barrington Elementary. Any questions regarding the specifications are to be directed to Danielle Thomas, Director of Purchasing & Supplier Diversity no later than February 2, 2024 at 12:00p.m. through the Vendor Registry online question submission process via the district's website at online. Only these inquiries will be answered. Any items requiring clarification will be distributed to all known vendors. The Hazelwood School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals. The Hazelwood School District reserves the right to award all or part of the bid solicitation to multiple bidders based on which proposal and/or proposals are most beneficial for the District. Once the Hazelwood School District has awarded the Proposal, the Proposal Submission will represent as the contractual agreement unless otherwise communicated. Hazelwood School District Vinyl Tile Installation BARRINGTON ELEMENTARY- GYM FLOORING Barrington Elementary: 15600 Old Halls Ferry Road, Florissant MO, 63034 Demo existing sheet vinyl flooring and existing vinyl base. Prep floor as needed to install VCT (vinyl composite tile). Supply and install Tarket VCT in two (2) colors (1 border and 1 court) Install Tarket VCT court including court lines installed with feature strips. Install Tarket VCT as a border around the new court. Install new 0.8-gauge base. Volleyball lines do not need to be re-installed. The Maintenance Director will choose the two colors of VCT required as well as the color of base used. Time and material price will need to be given on bid in the event major floor repair will be required (this is not anticipated). Due to District needs, work should be scheduled to begin on or about Monday, July 1, 2024 and be completed no later than Friday, August 2, 2024. The Owner will require the successful bidder to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond prior to the execution of the contract. The bonds shall be written in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract price. All bidders will be required to furnish a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid at the time of submission of the bid. Owner reserves the right to require financial statement from bidder. Statement shall be treated as confidential by Owner. The Hazelwood School District has established a Supplier Diversity Program to provide opportunities for the meaningful participation of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) in purchases made by the District. To this end the District has set goals for participation on all construction projects of 25% for MBEs and 5% for WBEs. The Supplier Diversity Program also encourages its business partners to strive for a workforce goal of twenty five percent (25%) minority and five percent (5%) women. The District may reject any and all bids that do not meet its program goals.
