Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bidder's certified check, as bid deposit, payable to the "County of Erie" in the amount of $150,000.00 (one hundred and fifty thousand dollars). Attention of bidders is particularly called to the Special Instructions and Special Specifications accompanying the Itemized Proposal, including but not limited to Federal, State and County contract forms, NYS Vendor Responsibility Form CCA-2 A/B/C, OSHA Training certifications, Davis-Bacon Federal and/or NYSDOL Minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the proposed contract, and the schedules as certified for the particular contract. Minority Workforce, NYS Apprenticeship Program, 5% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goals and requirements may apply. The successful bidder will be required to execute the contract and comply in all respects with Highway Law and local laws governing the awarding of the contract. Replace existing bridge with a new bridge superstructure This work shall consist of furnishing, placing, grading, compacting, and trimming shoulder backup material of the type indicated adjacent to shoulders to the lines, grades, and locations indicated in the contract documents or to the lines, grades, and locations directed by the Engineer, in accordance with these specifications and details shown in the plans. Bridge Replacement including: Removal of existing superstructures and portions of existing substructures, construction of new abutment and wingwalls stems and rehabilitation of abutment stems and wingwalls, erection ofprestressed concrete hollow slab units, construction of C.I.P. concrete decks and approach slabs, reconstruction of approach roadway and installation ofbridge railing and guide railing
