Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ville Platte, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of drilling two new water wells at two different sites and abandoning two existing water wells, which includes all labor and material for the completion of these wells, including but not limited to well casing, discharge pipe, well screen, lap pipe, discharge head, piping, and valves, electrical, fencing, control panels, motor, generators, chlorination system, limestone, driveways and culverts, etc. as well as taxes, permits, bonds, and insurance(s), etc. per requirements of the Plans and Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes 38. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid value, said bond or check made payable to the Point Blue Chataignier Water System. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. Minority and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit a bid. It is required that on any bid for this project submitted in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) or more, one dollar ($1) or more for hazardous materials or mold remediation, or ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or more for Plumbing, Electrical or Mechanical, the contractor shall certify licensure under R.S. 37:2150-2192 and show the license number on the bid envelope. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the state, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
