2022 Capital Funding Program Total Renovation The project consists of completely remodeling three (3) apartments (1 Building) including flooring, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, replacing drain lines under the slab, gypsum drywall, painting, carpentry, cabinets, and doors, etc as per the Plans and Specifications. 1. On any bid submitted in the amount of fifty thousand dollars or more, a Contractor shall certify that he is licensed under the provisions of paragraph A, Section 2163 of the Contractor's Licensing Law and shall show his license number on the Bid Envelope. 2. It is required that on any bid for this project submitted in the amount of one dollar ($1) or more for hazardous materials or mold remediation, or ten thousand dollars ($10,000) dollars or more for Plumbing, Electrical, or Mechanical, the Contractor shall certify licensure under R.S. 37:2150-2192 shall show the license number on the bid envelope. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid value, said bond or check made payable to the Ville Platte Housing Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the state, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
