Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilson, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Wilson, NC (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Lake Wilson Dam Rehabilitation - SRP-D-134-0084. The project includes the removal of forty-five trees situated within the embankment dam footprint, removal of tree root balls and repair subsequent holes, removal of riprap on the upstream slope and regrading the existing slopes, and placement of articulated concrete block (ACB) mat erosion protection along the upstream slope. Additionally, the project includes the installation of reservoir level monitoring equipment and connection to the City's SCADA system, and the replacement of a wooden pedestrian bridge with a prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge, and installation of an irrigation system per the documents attached/herein. A tour of the Site will be held the afternoon of the pre-bid conference. Prospective Offerors attending this site tour are required to arrange their own transportation to the Site. Maps to the Site will be available at the pre-bid conference. Questions are to be submitted using the question and answer process on the procurement website. Responses to questions posted on the procurement website will be posted for the benefit of all Offerors. A response will be posted for questions submitted until 12:00 p.m. on May 30st, 2025.
