The approximate quantities for the major items of work for this project are as follows: Service Line Material Verification, Curb Stop 230 Ea Public Side Water Service Line Replacement (Short Side) 10 Ea Public Side Water Service Line Replacement (Long Side) 10 Ea Private Side Water Service Line Replacement 20 Ea Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit via certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and Surety Company, payable to the Village of Dundee in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the original certified bid check, satisfactory Performance, Labor and Material, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bonds in the amount of 100% of the project prior to award. The Bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall, within ten (10) calendar days after notice of award, enter into a written contract with the Owner as hereinafter specified. Failure to execute the contract will be considered cause for annulment of award. Following the execution of the contract, the Bidder shall become known as the Contractor. -Lead Service Line Verification Substantial Completion - September 13, 2024. -Lead Service Line Replacement Substantial Completion - December 1, 2024. *The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any Bidder if the Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the bid is not responsive or if the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any pertinent standards or criteria established by the Owner.
