A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Township of East Brunswick ("Township") wishes to seek proposals for the Restoration, Maintenance & Gel Coat of Water Slides at Crystal Springs Family Waterpark. The Township is issuing this request for quotation via a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.4 et seq. Restoration, Maintenance & Gel Coat of Water Slides at Crystal Springs Family Waterpark The Township of East Brunswick is accepting quotations for the restoration and gel coat of 2 Lane Kiddie Racers - Red Slide, Blue Slide & 2 White Slides (colors may change). Two slides are 25' long and two slides are 18' long. Please refer to the specifications below, however in general this work includes the repair of all minor structural repairs, caulking of all seams and gel coat of interior ride path. In addition, the Township is accepting quotes for the annual maintenance of three large slides; one aqua tube closed body slide (151 feet), one open flume body slide (153 feet) and one open to closed to open flume slide (225') and the above mentioned 2 Lane Kiddie Racers. Please refer to the specifications below, however in general this work includes minor fiberglass repairs, and polish and wax interior. All work must be completed annually by May 17th. If mutually acceptable to the Township and Contractor, the contracts can be extended to the existing terms and conditions for an additional 12 months up to five years. Prepare interior ride path for Gel Coat. Sanding and buffing required as needed on slide interior surface to remove calcium deposits, watermarks, faded gel coat and generally shine up the surface for an improved riding experience and dramatically better appearance. 2. Repair all minor structural repairs in ride path, to include chips, scratches, weak areas, or other blemishes on slide interior surface to ensure a safe, problem free slide. 3. All repairs will be done with Ashlands' Hetron Vinyl Ester Resin or approved equal. 4. Re-caulk all seams and removal of old sealant. 5. Seams will be caulked with a 3M 4000 Marine Premium Grade Filler or approved equal. 6. Repair of any leaks determined by owner/operator. 7. Lay non-skid at start tub. 8. Refinish interior ride path of slide with Gel Coat 9. Gel Coat will be applied to a thickness of 18 - 24 mils. 10. Premium Gel Coat will be used. 11. Gel Coat will only be applied to the start and exit of aqua tube. 12. Gel Coat will be applied to the entire open flume. 13.
