Roads and landscape material including asphalts and road and railroad construction materials and soil stabilizers and artificial turf and construction aggregates including
rock, gravel, and sand. Paving service including highway paving and road paving and infrastructure building services and parking lot and surfacing services. Weber County Purchasing, on behalf of the Road Department invites your company to bid on providing hot mix asphalt. If any provision or specification in this "Invitation to Bid" (ITB) is ambiguous or is disputed by a bidder, the bidder must notify the County Purchasing Division prior to the opening of the bids. No dispute or protest concerning the ambiguity of these specifications or provisions of the ITB shall be accepted following opening of the bids. The County will pick up material at the hot plant throughout the year. Due to different locations of the job sites this bid may be split between vendors so that the department can meet the demand and scheduling requirements. Any fuel charges must be included.
Bidder must be able to provide up to 400 tons of asphalt within 4 hours of order. Questions are due prior to the question due date and time specified. If a questions/answer changes the ITB, the change will be released in an addendum to the ITB. Do NOT contact the Agency, Division, Department, or other County officers or employees. Owner Rights: The County will determine the low bidders based upon price(s) bid.
The County reserves the right to award multiple purchase orders to the responsive, responsible bidders meeting specifications who bid the lowest overall cost to the County. Weber County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bids, if to do so is in the best interest of the County
