Start date will be within 45 days of NTP and must be completed within 60 days of start date. Bidder further proposes and agrees hereby to promptly commence the Work with adequate force and equipment within ten (10) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed, or as may be specified by Special Provision, and to complete the Work by August 1, 2024 or as may be specified by Special Provision. A. Scope of Work to be Performed The Contractor will be required to perform prep work, removal, installation and cleanup for Guardrail/Impact Attenuator Barrier Replacement Services define. The majority of the work will occur on the Greene County system. The Contractor shall supply labor, equipment, tools, means of transportation, traffic control, and incidentals to perform work in accordance to specifications, and to ensure a safe work environment for employees and the traveling public within the time schedule specified. Scope Work under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, means of transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the services. Contractor must furnish equipment in good operating condition and operated by properly trained and qualified personnel. The Contractor must make a good faith effort to furnish the County the fully operational equipment needed to perform Guardrail/Impact Attenuator Barrier Replacement Services at such time, and at such location(s) as directed by the Engineer. Prior to start of work, Contractor must inspect equipment to ensure the equipment is fully operational for the performance of its intended purpose. The Contractor will also be responsible for any traffic control, licenses, and permits required to satisfy the duties required herein. The Greene County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive formalities. Any claims for cost incurred for any Bidder in preparation of any part of or total package for this project will not be considered for reimbursement by Greene County, The Engineer reserves the right to perform all sampling and testing in accordance with Section 106 of the most recent Specifications. Bid Bond or Certified Check, o A Performance Bond equal to 100% of the Award Price, must be provided by the successful Bidder. the Bid Bond or certified check accompanying his bid and the money payable thereon shall be forfeited to the County as liquidated damages; otherwise, the check or Bond accompanying this proposal shall be returned to the Bidder.
