All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Be Coastal Douglas Fir Select Structural Grade No, 1 or Better. 3. All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Conform to Use Category Uc4.2. 4. All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Conform to the Requirements of Can/csa-080 (Latest Edition). 5. All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Be Graded in Accordance With N.l.g.a. Standard Grading Rules of Canadian Lumber (Latest Edition) or W.c.l.b. No. 17 Grading Rules. 6. All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Be Clearly Marked as to Species, Grade and Treatment. 7. Treated Lumber/timber Inspection and Testing A) All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Be Inspected by a Certified Inspection Company Prior to and After Treatment. B) Supplier is Responsible for Quality Control and Inspection of Treated Lumber/timber. The Cost of the Quality Control and Inspection Shall Be Classified as Incidental in the Total Bid Price for the Supply of Treated Lumber/timber. C) the Supplier Shall Submit the Following Documentation Prior to Shipping Materials; D) Test Results of Preservation Assay Retention and Penetrations and Certification That Preservative Treatment Meets Specifications. E) Lumber/timber Grading Certificates. 8. Best Management Practices A) All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Bear the Bmp Certification Mark Indicating That the Treatment Process Was in Compliance With the Requirments of the Wwpi/wood Preservation Canada "Best Management Practices for the Use of Wood in Aquatic or Other Sensitive Environments" B) the Supplier Shall Submit a Certificate for Treatment and Compliance From the Pressure Treater Confirming That Bmp's Were Utilized (Include a Description of the Bmp's That Were Utilized) and That the Lumber/timber Has Been Treated in Accordance With the Specifications and Applicable Standards. 9. All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Be Protected During Storage and Transit as Per Can/csa-080 (Latest Edition). 10.all Material Shall Have a Minimum of 4 Inches Blocking/dunnage. 11. Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure Reserves the Right to Reject Materials. 12.the Unit Price for All Treated Lumber/timber Shall Be Quoted F.o.b. Destination With All Freight, Import Duties, Brokerage, Handling, Overhead and All Other Costs Included. 13.seventy Two (72) Hours Notice Shall Be Given Prior to Delivery. All Deliveries Shall Be Scheduled Between 9:00 a.m. And 2:00p.m. Central Time, Monday to Friday. 14.the Supplier/delivery Company is to Arrange for the Use of Any Additional Equipment (Forklift, Etc) Needed for Unloading.
