Reference Number 0000263769 The successful proponent will supply a report that details a recommended strategic plan for the City of Kenora to follow with respect to the renewal, repair, and maintenance its current water and wastewater treatment plant assets. This independent professional opinion about the condition of the City's assets will aid the City in planning future capital investment and to target areas of potential optimization, bridging the gap between current and future state of asset health. The report recommendations shall comply with all relevant industry standards, guidelines and regulations, including applicable national and local building codes, and CSA standards. Recommendations shall ensure the treated water and wastewater will meet the water quality standard requirements of all such standards, guidelines and regulations. A Draft Capital Needs Assessment Report shall be submitted to the Project Team for review and approval prior to being finalized. The final Capital Needs Assessment Report shall be stamped and sealed by a Professional Engineering Consultant in Ontario. The Consultant shall be required to present the Report to the Council of the City of Kenora. A virtual presentation to Council would be acceptable. The Consultant shall carry professional liability insurance under a policy that insures the Professional Services, and that: I has limits of not less than $2,000,000 per claim and with an aggregate limit of not less than $2,000,000 within any policy year, and a deductible not exceeding $50,000, which shall be the responsibility of the Consultant is maintained continuously from the commencement of the Professional Services for a period of 2 years after the completion of the Professional Services.
