Colorado State University, Department of Clinical Sciences is requesting documented quotes for footing replacement at Johnson Family Equine Hospital (JFEH) Lameness Arena. The Vendor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for replacement per attached specifications: Base Scope of Work: Vendor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, labor, and services necessary to perform the following JFEH Lameness Arena Footing Replacement per attached specifications: Remove existing footing material down to existing compacted sand base. Vendor shall be responsible for removing and transporting existing material outside of the building via the existing overhead door, to be deposited in a location that shall not block the road and fire lanes. After removal of existing footing material, assess and repair the compacted dirt base as needed, including laser leveling to correct grade. Vendor shall include a repair/levelling allowance of 10% of the total arena footing area in their bid. Deliver and place approximately 13,100 sq ft of new pre-mixed, dust-free and water-free equestrian footing material at a uniform 4 compacted thickness. Bidder shall field-verify and measure the arena during the mandatory site walk to confirm the necessary quantity prior to submitting their bid. Remove and dispose of any excess new footing material offsite. Surplus/backstock materials will not be required.
