Reference Number 0000263722 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/14 02:00:00 PM EST Established in 2002, Ottawa Community Housing Corporation ("OCH") owns, operates and maintains about 15,000 affordable and subsidized residential units in communities across Ottawa. With governance provided by a Board of Directors composed of municipal elected officials as well as community and tenant representatives, OCH is an independent non- profit corporation that is owned by the City of Ottawa. The housing portfolio consists of townhouses, low rise and high-rise apartments, and some single-family homes. The head office of OCH is located at 39 Auriga Drive, Ottawa, Ontario housing the office of the Chief Executive Officer as well as a number of functions, including Community Development, Asset Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Corporate Services, and a Call Centre. There are five (5) tenant experience centres based in two (2) operational zones. OCH is requesting Prequalification Submissions from contractors who self-perform the Construction Services necessary to carry out Roofing Repairs and Replacement work. The objective of this Prequalification is to create a source list of contractors specializing in Roofing Repairs and Replacement work within the local Ottawa area. For the purpose of this Prequalification, the term local or local Ottawa area refers to the region within the current City of Ottawa boundaries, or within an 80-kilometre distance form OCH's head office located at 39 Auriga Drive, Ottawa, Ontario. Companies who submit a Prequalification Submission and who are successfully pre- qualified in accordance with the evaluation process described herein, will be included in OCH's Source List. Only those successful companies will be invited to participate in the Tendering Phase of future roofing repairs and replacement projects. Provide a certificate from insurance provider indicating a minimum of $5,000,000.00 liability insurance.
