Scope of Work Statement: Hoboken SW Resiliency Park Expansion, Block 10 is a 0.803-acre (35,000 SF) park that serves as an expansion to the existing Southwest Resiliency Park, located immediately east of the project site across Harrison Street. The park provides active recreational facilities while detaining 260,000 gallons of stormwater. The park has an extensive underground storage system and green infrastructure features such as rain gardens and permeable pavers to alleviate nearby flooding. Recreational amenities include pickleball courts, basketball court, playground, splash pad, bathrooms, lighting, seating, shade structures, signage, drinking fountains, and bike racks. Two prefabricated steel restrooms are located at the park entrance at Observer Highway. Native trees, shrubs and perennial plantings surround the park. New permeable concrete sidewalks and bioswales line the park frontage along Harrison Street and Observer Highway. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract. Further, the successful bidder must furnish the policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Contract.
