Description: Provide the necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision to provide landscaping services to various locations throughout Polk County for the Roads and Drainage Division. Submit all questions to Michael Guerrero, Sr. Procurement Analyst, via email at michaelguerrero@polk-county.net or via fax at (863) 534-6789 by 4:00 p.m.; February 16, 2024. The Vendor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications and terms of the contract. 2. The said properties will be of various lengths and widths and at various locations within the County. 3. The successful vendor shall preserve from damage all property associated with, or which is in the vicinity of, or is in any way affected by, the work. This applies to public and private property and/or utilities. Any damage occurring to such properties shall be immediately repaired at the expense of the successful bidder. 4. OUT OF SCOPE WORK: If at any time during the bid term it is determined that outof- scope work needs to be performed, the County and successful vendor will work together to create an out-of-scope work Work Order. The out-of-scope work order shall contain all necessary costs, expenses, and time; the County shall not be obligated in any event for payment over the amounts identified in the Scope of Work. Upon approval by the Roads & Drainage Section Manager, a request will be made to the Purchasing Director for an out-of-scope work order Purchase Order. After the Purchase Order is issued, the Roads & Drainage Section Manager of his designee will issue a Notice to Commence for the out-of-scope work order.
