construct Town Wide Stormwater and UGC Project. This Contract provides for NE 38th Street Phase 2 Trail Improvements (300 LF; a Bid Additive), as well as the stormwater and undergrounding conversion (UGC) project along the following corridors in Yarrow Point: 94th Avenue NE: NE 37th Place to 92nd Avenue NE (approximately 2,600 feet) NE 38th Street: 92nd Avenue NE to 94th Avenue NE (approximately 520 feet) NE 40th Street: 92nd Avenue NE to 95th Avenue NE (approximately 930 feet) The work to be performed under this contract includes nature trail improvements, the removing and replacing existing storm drainage pipes at various locations in the corridors with 8-inch to 12-inch PVC and DI pipes, and undergrounding the existing aerial utilities throughout the whole site. Work associated with those tasks include installation of the catch basins and utility provided vaults and handholes, clearing and grubbing, pavement restoration, temporary erosion control, traffic control and general site restoration, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The Work shall be substantially complete within 155 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Yarrow Point, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or Proposal bond payable to the "Town of Yarrow Point" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Financing of the Project has been provided by Town of Yarrow Point, Washington. The Town of Yarrow Point expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
