Reference Number 0000341612 The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is seeking to retain contractors with experience in performing professional services related to asbestos, lead based materials, and mold testing, air clearance testing and site inspections. Additionally, contractors may be asked to design and manage asbestos, lead, and mold abatement programs and manage asbestos, lead, and mold abatement projects. The purpose of this solicitation is to prepare a pre-qualified list of State of Colorado certified firms for the purpose of determining the amount and types of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM), Lead Based Paint (LPB) materials, mold to be removed from BCPOS properties prior to demolition/renovation. Services shall include inspecting and testing BCPOS properties for ACM, LPB, and mold and submitting survey reports. Other services include air clearance testing, inspection of the completeness and quality of asbestos removal, and review/approval of the asbestos abatement methods. Other services may include management of asbestos abatement projects, and design and management of asbestos abatement programs. The work will be performed on an as-needed, project-by-project basis.
