The City of Johnson City, TN features three different aquatics facilities, none of which complement one another to provide a well-rounded swimming experience for the community. Two of these facilities suffer from structural leaks and/or plumbing issues due to their age and lack of regular maintenance over their 49 to 64 year service life. Through community input sessions during the 2023 master planning process, it was identified that upgrading our Aquatics operations to include better recreational and competitive swimming opportunities was the number one priority. The City has a current population of 72,000 residents. Questions must be received by 4:00pm ET on February 6, 2024. All questions and responses will be compiled and submitted to all known potential respondents via an addendum by February 13, 2024 and posted on the City s Purchasing . The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The City reserves the right to cancel this RFP, reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities, irregularities.
