Site work for a mixed-use development in Durham, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a medical facility.

The Durham VAMC Sterile Processing Services (SPS) Department is currently equipped with cleaning, disinfecting and sterilization equipment as outlined in the table below. This equipment will be replaced, in the same locations, by the following or comparable: PLANNED NEW EQUIPMENT Model Qty Description Triton 36 3 Getinge Sonic Cleaner 2460U 2 Getinge Sonic Cleaner 9128E 1 Getinge Cart Washer 733HC-E 2 Getinge Steam Sterilizer GSS67N13 1 Getinge Steam Sterilizer 8668 9669 3 Getinge Instrument Washer/Disinfectant & Return Conveyor This contract is a Site Prep Construction project to support the new equipment. The SPS Department is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital with the location of the existing equipment shown schematically. The contractor will provide professional construction services as shown in the drawings and specifications to conduct site preparation for the replacement of SPS sterilization equipment. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $45.0 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In accordance with Public Law 109-461 and VAAR 819.7003 (b), bidders must be registered and certified in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov) as a SDVOSB. Only bids from certified SDVOSBs in the VetCert database at the time of bid submission shall be deemed responsive. All non-responsive bids shall be rejected and ineligible for award. Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and award a single, firm fixed-price contract. Solicitation material will be available on/about May 12, 2025. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) Contract Opportunities website (https://sam.gov/opportunities). The Contract Opportunities website is the only official location to obtain solicitation information and documents. Bids will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Only one site visit will be scheduled. Location and point(s) of contact for the site visit will be identified in the solicitation. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on SAM.gov.
