The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following Roof Repairs: includes the coordination with the painting contractor awarded under a separate contract for. Remove and dispose of existing wood shingles, metal valley, wall and step flashing and metal cap at chimney. Install new wood shingles over new underlayment, new pre-finished metal valley, wall and step flashing and new metal cap around chimney. Reinstall gutter and seal seams. At dormers remove existing wood wall shingles and dispose. Install new wood shingles to match existing style and profile over air/vapor barrier. A. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract per the Division of Public Works Fixed Price Construction Contract between Owner and Contractor.
