The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to solicit property rehabilitation services (the "Services") for Boise State University (University)-owned off-campus properties that are part of the University's Employee Housing Assistance Program (EHAP). These preventative maintenance/rehabilitation services, as defined by Idaho State Statute 67-5710B, are for corrective repairs or replacements within existing state-owned, or state-operated facilities, and result from its determination that wear, tear, and change are anticipated, and continuous corrective actions are required to ensure peak efficiency and to minimize deterioration. Typical rehabilitation activities include, but are not limited to, the following services: Demo and prep kitchen areas: Remove cabinets Remove countertops Remove window treatments Stub plumbing at the wall Laundry to remain in existing location Demo and prep bathroom areas: Remove vanity and stub plumbing at the wall Remove toilet Remove shower surround and assess drywall for replacement need Kitchen Replacement: Replace cabinets, with new hardware Replace countertops (Laminate) New plumbing from the wall, with a new sink and faucet Layout to remain Install dishwasher hook-up and shut off valve Bathroom Replacement: New plumbing from wall to fixtures New sink and fixtures New vanity - Approximately 5' New toilet New shower tile surround New vanity light Flooring Replacement: New LVP in kitchen, laundry and bath Refinish hardwoods throughout the remainder (sand, fill, stain, and seal) Misc. Services: Replace all flush mount lighting with LED Replace fan lighting with LED Ensure all outlets are grounded with white plates Install new blinds on each window Replace two exterior doors with steel reinforced option Appliances: New microwave and dishwasher Initial Term of the Contract will be 03/01/2024 to 02/28/2025 Following the Initial Term, the parties may extend the Contract and continue similar rehabilitation services, subject to the contract's terms, on an annual basis and upon mutual written consent, for up to 3 additional one (1) year terms.
