The City of Ames is seeking quotes for wood poles for Electric Distribution inventory. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. Question Deadline 02/13/2024 at 2:00 PM CT. If any bidder is in doubt as to the intent or meaning of any part of this bid, they should contact the Procurement Specialist, City of Ames, Iowa, in time to receive a written reply before submitting their bid. Bids will be evaluated and awarded by responsiveness, price and availability. However, the City of Ames reserves the right to consider contract administration costs for multiple awards. Delivery hours are 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. All deliveries must be made during delivery hours and require a signed Bill of Lading.
