Macomb TSC - Freeway Mowing I-94, I-696, and M-53 BACKGROUND MDOT is requesting vegetation maintenance services and litter pickup services for State trunk lines within Macomb County. The purpose of this Contract is to maintain the State trunk lines, roadside and medians per MDOT specifications and standards as set forth in the Contract. SCOPE The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the vegetation maintenance and litter pickup services. The required objective is to maintain the roadsides and medians in a manner that provides safe, environmentally compliant, and aesthetically pleasing roadside for the motoring public. MDOT reserves the right to add or remove locations. QUESTIONS. Bidder questions about this RFP must be emailed to Harrist@michigan.gov the Solicitation Manager no later than the time and date specified on the Cover Page. In the interest of transparency, only written questions are accepted. Deadline for bidders to submit questions about this RFP 3:00 p.m. Eastern Monday, February 19, 2024 Anticipated date the State will post answers to bidder questions on online 3:00 p.m. Eastern Thursday, February 22, 2024. Anticipated contract begin date N/A Wednesday, May 1, 2024. GENERAL CONDITIONS. The State will not be liable for any costs, expenses, or damages incurred by a bidder participating in this solicitation. The bidder agrees that its proposal will be considered an offer to do business with the State in accordance with its proposal, including the Contract Terms, and that its proposal will be irrevocable and binding for a period of [180] calendar days from date of submission.
