The Grandview C-4 School District located at 13015 10th Street is soliciting bids for 3 firewalls with internet content filtering to provide network security for our district locations The Grandview C-4 School District operates a network refresh program that requires the replacement of aging firewalls deployed in the district. This program addresses equipment obsolescence, and to the extent possible, provides the network infrastructure to support new ways for collaborative education to share resources and the network infrastructure to support the latest standards for our district to share resources and provide online services over the next five years. The Firewall should be replaced in E-rate Year 2024 which covers the period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The Grandview C-4 School District provides wired and wireless services for students, faculty, and public access during district events. The need for a Firewall and Content filtering allowing greater throughput grows in importance with the greater number of online tools and resources utilizing our 1:1 environment. The Grandview School District currently utilizes 3 Smoothwall S14 devices to secure network traffic and provide content filtering. The Grandview School District Data Center is located at 13007 10th Street, Grandview, MO 64030.
