Site work for a water / sewer project in Cumberland, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes: The installation of a Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) repair in sanitary sewer lines in the following quantities: 970 LF of 10" pipe along Beechwood Dr, 300 LF of 12" pipe along Williams Street, and 2,256 LF of pipe along Mechanic Street, 539 LF of which is 18" pipe and 1,717 LF is 21" pipe. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, manpower and materials to perform the CIPP repair, including the pump-around operation. A Proposal Guaranty (Bond or Certified Check) in the amount of at least 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000, at the time the contract is executed. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
