Renovation of a water / sewer project in Bloomington, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of March 21, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 15th. Description of Work: Major rehabilitation of the existing Plant 1 Headworks building including: existing screen rehabilitation, new screenings conveyance and dewatering/compacting, a new vortex grit collector, new grit slurry pump and grit washer. Additionally, new HVAC will be provided for the Plant 1 Headworks Buildings (Screen Room and Grit Washer Room) and gas safety equipment will be installed in the Classified areas of the Building. All existing slide gates will be removed and replaced. Miscellaneous site piping, grading, electrical, controls, architecture, mechanical, and plumbing work will be included.
