City of Kingsland Purchasing Department is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to construct Asphalt Resurfacing on City streets. Mill and level existing asphalt as needed. Overlay with 1.5" of 12.5 hot mix asphalt Taper asphalt on all aprons to driveways and connecting streets. Asphalt mix and tack coat application are to be completed to GDOT standards. Pavement milling for transition will be required where new overlays join existing streets at Laurel Island Parkway, Georgia Hwy 40/East King Avenue, and Scrubby Bluff Road. Restripe street to match existing striping with thermoplastic and reflective beads. City will provide manhole risers and valve box extensions. Work is to include traffic control.
