Georgia DOT is seeking to contract with a Design-Builder to provide design & construction services necessary to install three DMS either in the roadside clearzone or on overhead sign structures, concrete poles with closed circuit television camera units at or near each location, & associated cabinets, pull boxes, and supporting ITS infrastructure. One DMS will be placed in Harris County on I-85 Northbound at the Georgia/Alabama border, one DMS will be placed in Bartow County on I-75 Northbound prior to Emerson, and one DMS will be placed in Crisp County on I-75 Southbound before US 280. This Project will be awarded to a Design-Builder utilizing a One-Phase Low Bid method. A Design-Builder includes a Lead Contractor and a Lead Design Consultant working together to design and construct the project. Industry one-on-one meetings - Virtual Meeting via secured Microsoft Teams meeting 02/22/2024 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. A virtual Industry Forum and virtual one-on-one meetings will be conducted for this Project on the date noted above. During the Industry Forum presentation, Georgia DOT will provide information regarding the Project's delivery goals, anticipated scope, anticipated DB procurement process, and potential risks. There is no limitation on the number of participants. This is a recorded presentation and participants will not be provided the opportunity to ask questions. Any information provided by Georgia DOT shall be considered as informational only and is subject to change. Participants will be able to ask questions during the scheduled one-on-one meetings. Interested parties can preregister here for access to the pre-recorded presentation on the date noted above, which is 24-hours prior to its posting on the Georgia DOT DesignBuild website. A limited number of virtual one-on-one meetings will be available following the Industry Forum on a first come, first served basis between interested parties and Georgia DOT staff. Each one-on-one meeting will be limited to 30 minutes. To schedule a one-on-one meeting, send an email to ITSDMSPhase2@dot.ga.gov. Include in the email three available 30-minute time slots (ranked in order of preference). Include the name, title, and company of those individuals who will be attending the one-on-one Microsoft Teams meeting with an email address for each individual in order for Georgia DOT to send the login information for attendance. Only provide email addresses of the person(s) who will participate in the Microsoft Teams meeting on behalf of your team, not to exceed six (6) persons. In response, Georgia DOT will send out a meeting invitation including a specified date, time, and secured login information.
